Welcome to CollegeHound. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the CollegeHound platform, website, and services (collectively, the "Service"). By accessing or using our Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not access or use the Service. If you are using the Service on behalf of a minor (under 18 years old), you represent that you are the parent or legal guardian and have the authority to bind the minor to these Terms.

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.

2. Description of Service

CollegeHound is a Digital Binder platform designed to help high school students:

• Track academic achievements, grades, and coursework
• Document extracurricular activities and involvement
• Organize college application materials and deadlines
• Manage college lists and application requirements
• Share information with family members through family accounts

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.

3. Account Registration and Responsibilities

3.1 Account Creation

To use certain features of the Service, you must create an account. When creating an account, you agree to:

• Provide accurate, current, and complete information
• Maintain and promptly update your account information
• Maintain the security and confidentiality of your password
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access or security breach
• Accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account

3.2 Age Requirements

Students under 18 years of age must have a parent or legal guardian create and manage the account. Family accounts allow parents to oversee and manage their student's data.

4. User Conduct and Prohibited Uses

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Violate any applicable laws or regulations
• Infringe upon the rights of others
• Upload malicious code or attempt to harm the Service
• Impersonate another person or entity
• Harass, abuse, or harm other users
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service
• Use automated systems to access the Service without permission

5. Data and Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your information. By using the Service, you consent to our Privacy Policy.

You retain ownership of all content you upload to the Service. You grant us a limited license to use, store, and display your content solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you.
